Violet Hart is a character that I created. She has a vast range of different talents including live singing, dancing, lip-syncing, hosting, DJing and comedy...as well as throwing some world-class sass!
Violet started out four years ago at Blackpool's famous Funny Girls and soon after secured her first solo role as a weekend host for Pepe's Bar Blackpool while simultaneously presenting a radio show for Gay One Radio.
From there she has branched out into modeling (for Poisoning Frogs first Runway collection at Manchester's Cruz 101) and numerous photo shoots (with photographers such as Alex Dale, Gabriella Csutor and Michael Charnley).
Violet is now working as an independent artist for festivals, charity events, hen-do's, and parties.

The British Beard and Moustache Championships
When I got asked to perform at the British Beard and Moustache Championships, my first reaction what "Sorry, could you say that again?" Safe to say it was one of my favourite gigs I have ever performed. Everyone was so nice and the management jumped through hoops for the performers making sure we were looked after.

Favourite Moment: The last time I was in The Winter Gardens Empress Ballroom I was receiving my degree. It was like a full 360 moment performing where I got my certification for something I love.
Gay One Radio
During Blackpool Pride I was approached by Keza, an online radio presenter who noticed me when I was a DJ at Pepes. He invited me to be a presenter and review some of the shows that came to Blackpool, since I have a background in Musical Theatre.

Favourite Moment: Getting to do what I love, being a theatre goer. From there also getting to interview some of the cast, directors and creatives behind the productions as well.

Drag-Formation Photoshoot
Hope Stanton approached me with her Graduate exhibition concept of having a photoshoot of a Drag Queen's transformation from being a man to the glamorous alter ego. These photos were part of her Graduate exhibition that was shown in Media City and London.

Favourite Moment: The photographer getting to see the literal transformation from myself to Violet, which is what the photoshoot was all about. I wanted to start off as myself before I changed into Violet so she could understand the entire transformation process.

Poisoning Frog First Collection
I was asked to be a part of the Poisoning Frog first collection by a friend who was recruiting Drag Queens for the designer and happened to notice me working behind the bar at Funny Girls. The runway took place in Cruz 101 in Manchester. No stilettos were harmed on the catwalk, I wish I could say the same about my feet.

Favorite moment: Trying something really new to me and having fun with it. I had seen several of the Marco Marco fashion shows and it was a great experience to be a part of something quite similar.
Violet Hart Promo Photoshoot
I collaborated with Gabriella on these photos quite early on when she needed photos for her portfolio and I, as a new Drag Queen, needed some promo shots. She was brilliant in directing me throughout the shoot, something I was relatively new to doing.

Favourite Moment: Having very limited time in the studio and having a lot of outfits to photograph. Somehow we managed get it all done and the photographs turned out amazing.
Pepes Bar
Pepes Bar was the first establishment that gave me an opportunity to be an artist as a Drag Queen DJ. I was given the chance to play lots of camp music and also sing songs for the audience to keep them entertained.

Favourite Moment: Recreating the lyrics to 'All that Jazz' and performing it to a room full of Musical Theatre students and my own mother who was expecting something very different.
